Welcome to the Cape St. John Citizens Association (CSJCA) website, developed to serve as an informative resource for our neighbors, prospective homeowners, and the residents of the Cape St. John community on the South River in Annapolis, Maryland.
Cape St. John is a charming, rustic, water-privileged community located on the South River and accessible via Riva Road. Originally used as a camp for the Boy Scouts of America, Cape St. John was purchased, subdivided, and sold to individual owners who built their homes for permanent and part-time residence. The Citizen's Association held its first meeting in 1951. CSJCA membership offers use of the community beach, boat ramp, day tie up, small boat storage, picnic tables/BBQ facilities, and a children's playground.

About Homeowning in Cape St. John
The Cape St. John community borders include 203-300 Cape Saint John Rd, all of Friends, W Friends, and E Friends Roads, Dogwood Trail, Poplar Trail, Woodside Trail, Valley View Rd, and Island View Drive. Property owners within the CSJ community borders are eligible for membership in the Cape St. John Citizens Association. Addresses not listed above are ineligible for membership, water privileges, or access to the CSJ Beach. While membership in the CSJCA is voluntary, only current members have water privileges including access to the CSJ beach and boat ramp. New purchasers of property in CSJ can continue membership maintained by the property sellers, or can join the CSJCA if prior owners were not members. New members will be required to pay outstanding assessments and dues.
